One of the Pioneers of a Great Reality Show, Sweden Big Brother
|
The Sweden Big Brother show was an instant hit the moment it was aired on TV. Viewers were so curios as to how a variety of different people, from different circumstances could get along in a house where they have to endure many challenges. It first aired on Sweden TV on 2000. The producers of the Sweden Big Brother were ecstatic of a enormous increase in their rating. This reality show was based on the Big Brother by Endemol. It is so good that both Sweden and Norway had the same reality show in their televisions. Its success was so good that both countries decided to integrate and co-produce a Big Brother Sweden and Norway. This will include nine contestants from each country. Originally, these two sets of contestants were placed in different houses but after the first eviction, they have decided to allow the two groups meet each other in one house.
Although most countries have their adaptation of Big Brother the basic structure remains the same. Contestants are chosen to search inside the house are to be called housemates. They are placed in a single house where they will be isolated from the outside world. There will be cameras surrounding the house and it will show the activities of the housemates inside. It is then up to production to think of ways to spice up the lives of each housemates inside. In the Sweden Big Brother, they have made a crucial step in joining forces with the Norwegians. This created a tremendous impact on their viewers. It is quite fascinating how two distinct groups of people would come along. Sometimes it is fun to see them compete with one another. This will leave the two nations into the cheering mode. They will of course cheer for their countrymen.
This reality show has increased its popularity even more by adding some twist into the housemate's stay in the Big Brother house. The twist they have added was first letting the two distinct groups live together in one house. However, they cannot be extremely friendly with each other because they are divided into two separate teams. These teams will have to compete with each other in a given task. Who ever loses will have to vote one of its own members out. Only, the team captains can make the voting. They have also added more twists to make it more appealing to the viewers of the show. There was one day when they supposedly evicted two housemates but the two were well hidden in a private room, the rest of the housemates cannot see them and cannot interact with them. The activities of the two were still monitored. They also allowed the viewers to vote from three of the evicted contestants. The one who wins will have the opportunity to go back inside the Big Brother House. This is a new opportunity for that contestant to win the generous prizes which are to be given to the big winner. In the end, there will only be one winner and the results will depend on the viewers’ votes. This is why most housemates would try to hide their negative attitudes. However, they are often exposed during their stay in Norway and Sweden Big Brother House.

Mark down landmarks near the hotel if you plan to walk so that you can easily spot the direction of your residency for the time of your stay. |
